Wood Apple (Bael fruit) is light in color with very hard skin(or shell). Its very hard to break. It is mix of sweet and sour taste, together gets special and unique falvor and taste. Used in Indian and Asian cuisine. It can be consumed directly as a fruit and used in chutney and other dishes.

Leafs and fruits are used in Hindu religious rituals.
