About us
KS Natural Farms is a privately owned farm, located near Shamirpet, Hyderabad,
India(20kms away from Shamirpet ORR). We are from Hyderabad,
and have an interest in farming to produce naturally grown food without
fertilizers and pesticides.
History
Earlier generations of our family were into natural farming,
and used to do sustainable multi crop farming.
But, the recent generations have migrated to cities and left farming.
Still, some members of our family tree are performing mono crops cultivation
using chemicals, which is harmful for us and nature as well. So, after seeing
the impact of chemical farming, we have realized the importance of natural
farming and started producing crops using natural methods.
We love and respect our family members who did farming for decades. Here are few members:

Mission
Natural farming means growing locally available crops in a self-sustainable manner.
This will allow crops to accustom with local conditions quickly and grow well
so that they do not require any extra care in growth and controlling pests.
Moreover, there is no need for chemical inputs. We want to bring back natural
farming for good health and minimize the adverse effects of chemical farming.
The locally available resources will reduce input costs for farming and
avoid dependency on the market without having any harmful impact on nature.

Our experience
Our family members and friends support us in various ways to make farming possible,
giving us energy, motivation and the strength to overcome various problems.
We do take help and suggestions of the other natural farming experts in solving problems.
Also, we attend seminars, meetings, exhibitions to learn and upgrade ourself.
At the same time, we have faced different issues during these years such
as disease with crops, heavy rains, drought, electricity problems, water problems,
wild animals, labor issues, and issues with neighbouring farmers.
Message to people coming into Natural Farming: We welcome the people who want
to do natural farming. If you are new to farming,
it may take time to learn and adjust with the farming profession.
You should also be more patient as results depend on nature and market. The good thing
is you will interact with nature and get a lot of satisfaction,
which cannot be experienced in a city life.

Our Team
Farming is not as simple as manufacturing a product from a factory.
It is a continuous process of learning and applying the knowledge.
Also, we should keep in mind about the local conditions and environment.
Farmers have to make immediate decisions.
So, we feel farmers are professionals who deal with nature, crops and market.
We wish all farmers to do natural farming. In this way we can stay healthy
and protect the nature.
Happy natural farming.
